Victor Engineering

VICTOR ENGINEERING was founded in 1981 by Vic & Maggie Kmosek. Vic has remained in his CEO position and Maggie in her Office Manager position to this date. Originally, VE was strictly a consulting firm specialized in custom design of industrial Automation systems. Vic designed and supervised design of extensive Automated Production Test systems for leading Telecom Systems Manufacturers as well as Production Line Automation System for large Steel Mills and other types or manufacturers.

It was his experience in design of various electronic motion controls and his love of R/C Hobbies that led VE to mass production of Vic's designs. Starting with a line of the first truly high power solid state Speed Controls for R/C Airplanes, Boats closely followed by first ever advertised true R/C car ESC before Novak and Delta.

Victor Engineering was the original sponsor of Cliff Lett and other now legendary racers who's use of Victor ESC's contributed to their first Champion Titles. In 1986 VE team of hardware and software engineers started the design of micro-C based battery Chargers/Conditioners/Analyzers initially strictly for the Industrial Market but soon realizing the potential of POWER MAXIMIZING technology also in the R/C Electric Competition field where Victor ESC's had built up a significant reputation. This reputation helped launch the HI-IQ line of state of the art computerized R/C products.

The industrial version of the IQ systems were further developed under the close technical as well as "spiritual" guidance of Red who at that time was a high ranking Engineering Specialist at Gates Batteries, later moving to Energizer as Gates Batteries became part of the Eveready family.

Red is now retired using his vast battery expertise in engineering, consulting and, yes you guessed it, R/C flying where he not only flies but also contributes with magazine articles on batteries. VE Industrial products are used in a wide variety of industrial market places beginning in aerospace (used in NASA projects) and ending with Walt Disney (last in alphabetic order).
