HI-IQ Custom 2-Way Switched Firmware Instructions (Super2/IQ3000)

​

First, to put two firmwares in one eprom (27c010)  - load the first hexfile (iq3000) from adress 0000 then a loaded the second hex file (promatch) to the programmer and reallocated it to the second half off the eprom in the programmer then I burn it.

​

All hardware modifications I done was on the eprom chip. Nothing on IQ PCB board, I installed the eprom with some pins beside the socket,

​

27C512 has 28 pins and 27c010 has 32 pins.

Pin 1,2 and 31,32 beside socket.

Soldering one strap from pin 32 to pin 30 on eprom (Vcc)

Soldering one 2-way switch to pin 2 (A16) on eprom to slelect program bank.

the other side off the switch to Vcc (pin32) and gnd (pin 16) The switch is hided under the IQ cover just underthe cooling holes at the down left.

Select software and start the charger. To selcet the other firmware shutdown the charger toggle the switsh and

turn the charger on.
